Emerging Farmers Database

Background

This database aims to document information of Emerging Farmers (EF*) producing fruit and vegetables for export and those with the potential to do so. SA PIP's objective is to assist horticultural export producers in South Africa to comply with EU export requirements for food safety and consumer protection, in particular related to pesticide regulations.

* EFs include farmers of all racial groupings that grow fruit and/or vegetables that are currently exporting or has potential during this program (grown to standards with the intention to export).
