Call for Proposals 2006
CALL FOR PROPOSALS FOR ADAPTIVE RESEARCH
SA PIP aims at promoting adaptive research to find alternative pest control measurements and farming practices to reduce problems caused by chemical residues exceeding EC MRL regulations.
SPECIAL Call for Proposals for Adaptive Research CLOSED - 31 OCTOBER 2006
This was a restricted local call for proposals following a special procurement agreement for the program under its Financing Agreement. This was a SPECIAL call for proposals for Adaptive Research due to its co-funding terms.
The total budget for this special round of Adaptive Research was R1.8 million from the EC, conditional to a contribution from stakeholders other than the EC of at least 50% and the actual exchange rate for future pre-payments is greater than 8.2 Rand/Euro.
SA PIP has secured funds from the EC to address the above and is calling for proposals from interested parties. Proposals must comply with the guidelines outlined below:
GL01 Guidelines and Criteria to assess funding applications for adaptive research
GL01_1 Criteria to evaluate proposals for adaptive research
GL02 Guidelines for the In-Kind Contributions
The Guideline for the in-kind contributions to the Program is to budget and account for contributions from the Industry for SA PIP projects. It will be applicable to the entire duration of the SA PIP, but the PMU (Program Management Unit) reserves the right to update it annually.
