Electronic Export Certification

Currently Export certificates are issued using manual, in-efficient and time consuming methods. These, at best, are fairly inaccurate.

The Electronic Export Certificate project was initiated based on requirements from the Industry and PPECB relating to the assurance that what gets exported was inspected and that less human intervention would be required to issue these certificates.

With this in mind the process needed to be streamlined further to enable that the “electronic” certificate could be used all throughout the chain down to retailer level and potentially eliminate the need for paper documentation to follow the produce through the chain.
